During the CES 2022 product premiere, AMD talked about upcoming next-gen Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 series desktop CPUs. A prototype of Zen4-based Ryzen 7000 CPU codename “Raphael” has been used for Halo Infinite demo.
According to latest rumors, the upcoming AMD Zen 4 Raphael desktop CPUs will feature with improved temperature and power management. AMD Zen 4 Raphael desktop CPUs are expected to be released in the middle or late 2022, and for AM5 socket would allegedly support dual-channel DDR5 memory as well as PCIe Gen4.0.
Twitter user MebiuW posted a picture appears to be from some kind of an internal roadmap of upcoming AMD processors. It seems that code name “Warhol” for the upcoming AMD Ryzen 5000 series Zen3 processors, and code name “Raphael” for the upcoming AMD Ryzen 6000 series Zen4 processors.
