The upcoming Intel Core i7-11700K Rocket Lake-S CPU has got more leaks recently. It now shows up at PassMark website and Geekbench website.
MSI official account at South Korean Danawa has just confirmed that the upcoming Intel 11th Gen Rocket Lake-S CPU will be officially released at the end of March. And currently Intel 400 series motherboards will fully support Rocket Lake-S CPUs. The official announcement for Intel Rocket Lake-S CPU could be as early as CES 2021 in next few days.
Yesterday, the CPU-Z score for Intel Core i9-11900K has been leaked online, today, according to chiphell, the CPU-Z single core score for Core i9-11900K processor is 706 when overclocked to 5.2 GHz, a slightly higher result (1.6%) from yesterday’s 695 points but also a much higher multi-threaded score of 7198, which is 10% higher than yesterday’s 6522 points.
First benchmark result for Intel Core i9-11900K now already leaked online. According to leaked benchmark at CPU-Z, the Core i9-11900K allegedly scores 695.4 points in the single-threaded, which is nearly 3% faster than AMD Ryzen 9 5950X.
According to Geekbench website, the first test result of Intel Core i7-11700K now available online. The Core i7-11700K is tested on Gigabyte Z490 AORUS Master motherboard, the single-core benchmark of i7-11700K is 1807, and the multi-threaded benchmark is 10673. Compared to AMD’s Ryzen 9 5950X (Single-core benchmark is 1672), Core i7-11700K is 8% higher in Single-core benchmark.
Motherboard makers Biostar and ASrock has just confirmed that upcoming Intel Rocket Lake-S desktop processors will support old Z490 motherboards. The new Z590 motherboards will be announced in January at CES 2021.
According to latest leaks, Intel seems to begin mass production of its 11th Gen Rocket Lake-S desktop processors as early as January. The previous date is in March. Intel will announce new Rocket Lake-S processors and Z590, B560, H510 at CES 2021.
Several days ago, the flagship Rocket Lake-S processor Core i9-11900K shows up in Ashes of the Singularity website, now today the Core i7-11700KF also spotted by @leakbench. According to the listing, this CPU is an octa-core processor with 16-threads enabled. It appears that the 11700KF CPU will have a 3.6 GHz base clock, which is actually 100 MHz higher than the rumored i9-11900K.
At CES 2021, Intel will announce new Z590, B560, H510 motherboards ahead of Rocket Lake-S desktop processors launch event. Recently, a sample of Intel Core i9-11900 has been tested on upcoming B560 motherboard.
According to latest rumors, Intel may announce upcoming Rocket Lake-S 11th Gen desktop processors in January. In several weeks ago, Intel confirmed that Rocket Lake-S processor will be launched in March 2021, seems Intel has moved up the release date for Rocket Lake-S processors.
