According to latest rumors by Chiphell user 热心市民描边怪, Intel will release Sapphire Rapids 13th Gen HEDT CPUs in late Q2 to early Q3, coming before the Raptor Lake-S. Intel Sapphire Rapids 13th Gen HEDT CPUs will feature with LGA4677, DDR5 and PCIe 5. The chipset for Sapphire Rapids is W790.

Intel Sapphire Rapids 13th Gen HEDT CPUs for W790 Chipset Rumored Coming in Q3 2022

According to Chiphell user, Intel is now expected to launch its W790 chipset for the high-end desktop (HEDT) series in the third quarter of 2022. There is no X699 chipset, which would launch alongside the Alder Lake series, but there is indeed a W790 (workstation) platform arriving at the same time as the 13th Gen Raptor Lake desktop series.
