According to Bilibili user 热心市民描边怪, he published the results of the upcoming Alder Lake Core i9-12900K with all ‘big’ cores overclocked to 5.2 GHz. In the CPU-Z benchmark, the Core i9-12900K scored 851 points in the single-thread test and 11987 points in the multi-thread. This is the first time i9-12900K has outperformed AMD’s Ryzen 9 5950X in the multi-thread test.
According to Wccftech, Intel is set to announce Alder Lake desktop processors on October 27th, and pre-orders opens at the same day. Furthermore, the product reviews and sales (so the actual hard launch) are now scheduled for November 4th.
The 12 Gen Alder Lake-S desktop processors now already leaked at Amazon.nl. Amazon.nl has listed Core i9-12900K, Core i7-12700K, Core i5-12600K on their page.

VideoCardZ has leaked first images of upcoming 12th Gen Alder Lake-S desktop processors packaging. The Core i9-12900K packaging features a small wafer, possibly as a display element. It seems that none of the Core i9/i7/i5 K and KF-series CPUs launching in November will be bundled with a reference cooler.
Several days ago, first leaked CPU-Z score for Intel Core i9-12900K Alder Lake-S desktop processor available online. Today Twitter User @9550pro posted another CPU-Z score for i9-12900K.
According to recently MSI press release for free upgrade kit for Intel LGA 1700 CPUs and their Coreliquid CPU coolers. The free upgrade be available on November 4th. VideoCardZ has confirmed that this date will be Intel Alder Lake-S desktop CPUs’ release date. This date is attached to the sales and review embargo.

According to latest leaks at Bilibili, the upcoming Intel’s flagship Alder Lake-S desktop processor Core i9-12900K‘s CPU-Z Single-thread benchmark has leaked. Core i9-12900K scored 825 points, which is 27% higher than AMD Ryzen 9 5950X.
According to twitter user REHWK, the upcoming Intel Core i9-12900K now tested in Cinebench R23. It has broken the 30K points barrier in Cinebench R23. Intel Core i9-12900K scores 30549 points in multi-core, for comparison, which is even more than AMD Threadripper 2990WX (30054 points), and AMD’s flagship Ryzen 9 5950X usually scores around 28K.
