Update: Intel Meteor Lake and Arrow Lake Desktop CPUs will Use LGA-1851 Socket

In the last post, MLID said Intel will use LGA-2551 socket for Meteor Lake and Arrow Lake desktop processors, now it turns out this 2551-pin version could be a BGA variant for other series, but as leaked today, it will probably not be used for a desktop LGA socket. The 14th Gen Meteor Lake and 15th Gen Arrow Lake will use LGA-1851 socket.

Intel Announced Design of Alder Lake, Sapphire Rapids, Meteor Lake and Granite Rapids CPUs

Intel today has officially announced the design of next gens CPUs. According to Intel, Intel 7 node will be used for Alder Lake consumer CPUs and Sapphire Rapids data center processors.
