According to latest rumors, the upcoming Intel 12th Gen Core Alder Lake-S desktop processor now expected released in November 2021. Previous rumored release date is at the end of 2021, with announcement date in September.
Several weeks ago, Intel announced the Rocket Lake-S processors, and confirmed will be released in March, 2021. Now we got some news about upcoming Alder Lake CPUs, according to Intel CEO, he confirmed again that Alder Lake CPUs will be qualified for production in 2H 2021.
The Intel Alder Lake-S desktop processor are expected to be released at the end of 2021. Recently, an Alder Lake-S CPU has already shown up at Geekbench website, it has 16-core and 24-thread, 8 big cores and 8 small cores, as the small cores do not support hyperthreading.

According to Twitter user @momomo_us, the upcoming Intel 11th Gen Rocket-Lake S and 12th Gen Alder Lake-S desktop processors now appear in the Intel’s Power Supply Unit Test Plans. Intel Rocket-Lake S is expected to be launched in early 2021 as already rumored before, while Intel Alder-Lake S is expected in sometime of 2022.
