Intel Arrow Lake-S Sample Features 24 Cores & 24 Threads (No AVX-512 Support)

Intel’s upcoming Arrow Lake-S desktop CPUs may feature a shift away from hyperthreading technology, according to recent leaks. A sample 24-core, 24-thread Arrow Lake-S chip was spotted in an Intel test machine, running at 3GHz.

Previous information indicated Arrow Lake-S would have up to 8 performance cores and 16 efficiency cores. With 16 threads from the efficiency cores and 8 from the performance cores, the total thread count should be 24. This suggests the performance cores on Arrow Lake-S may lack hyperthreading support.
