According to latest rumors by AMD leaker Greymon55, the Ryzen Threadripper 5000 series which were rumored to launch in November now seem delayed again. The new release date for Ryzen Threadripper 5000 series now expected next year.
The upcoming AMD Ryzen Threadripper 5000 series HEDT and WorkStation CPUs are rumored for a long time. According to latest leaks by Gigabyte, the new Zen 3 ‘Chagall’ Ryzen Threadripper 5000 series CPUs will max out at the same 64 Cores and 280W as Ryzen 3000 Threadripper, but feature the significantly quicker Zen 3 architecture.
The long awaited AMD Ryzen Threadripper 5000 series now rumored to be announced in August 2021 and release date expected in September. The AMD Ryzen Threadripper 5000 series are codenamed “Chagall”, there will be no changes to the number of cores, but the processor architecture will be changed to Zen 3.

AMD is rumored to release more SKUs for Ryzen 5000 series desktop processors. Recently, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 and Ryzen 7 5800 non-X series desktop CPUs has leaked. The Ryzen 9 5900 will have same 12-core & 24-thread, with a boost clock 100MHz lower than Ryzen 9 5900X, and the TDP is 65W. The Ryzen 7 5800 will have same 8-core & 16-thread, with a boost clock 100MHz lower than Ryzen 7 5800X, and the TDP is also 65W.
