AMD is reportedly preparing to launch its highly anticipated Ryzen 8000G “Phoenix” desktop APU lineup for the AM5 platform soon. According to the latest rumors from HKEPC, these new APUs will come in both hybrid and non-hybrid configurations featuring Zen 4 and Zen 4c CPU cores combined with RDNA 3 graphics.
The flagship Ryzen 7 8700G is expected to feature 8 Zen 4 cores, 16 threads, 16MB of L3 cache and a Radeon 780M integrated GPU with 12 compute units. The 6-core Ryzen 5 8600G will also utilize Zen 4 cores along with a Radeon 760M GPU with 8 compute units.
