VideoCardZ has confirmed that this date will be Intel Alder Lake-S desktop CPUs’ release date. This date is attached to the sales and review embargo.
According to twitter user REHWK, the upcoming Intel Core i9-12900K now tested in Cinebench R23. It has broken the 30K points barrier in Cinebench R23. Intel Core i9-12900K scores 30549 points in multi-core, for comparison, which is even more than AMD Threadripper 2990WX (30054 points), and AMD’s flagship Ryzen 9 5950X usually scores around 28K.
According to FanlessTech, a full list of Intel 12th Gen Core T-Series low-power desktop processors has been leaked online. The list features Core i9 and Core i7 SKUs with three Core i5 and two Core i3 models. This is the first time we get to see the full lineup of the Alder Lake series, except these are 35W models.
According to Chiphell user, Intel is now expected to launch its W790 chipset for the high-end desktop (HEDT) series in the third quarter of 2022. There is no X699 chipset, which would launch alongside the Alder Lake series, but there is indeed a W790 (workstation) platform arriving at the same time as the 13th Gen Raptor Lake desktop series.
