According to twitter user REHWK, the upcoming Intel Core i9-12900K now tested in Cinebench R23. It has broken the 30K points barrier in Cinebench R23. Intel Core i9-12900K scores 30549 points in multi-core, for comparison, which is even more than AMD Threadripper 2990WX (30054 points), and AMD’s flagship Ryzen 9 5950X usually scores around 28K.
There is also a screenshot showing motherboard and memory configurations. The test was allegedly performed using Gigabyte Z690 AORUS Ultra which features PCI Express 5.0 and DDR5-5200 memory listed as Quad-channel (DDR5 memory has two 32-bit memory channels as opposed to a single 64-bit channel on DDR4 modules).
