Intel Rocket Lake-S Desktop Processors May Launched in Early 2021

As already rumored before, Intel may launch their 11th gen Rocket Lake-S desktop processors in late this year, to compete with upcoming AMD Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 series desktop processors to be announced on October 8th, now according to our source, there maybe a delay for Rocket-Lake S processors, the release date could be in early 2021.

The latest Compute Runtime (20.37.17906) has received support for Rocket Lake architecture. It received more IDs for DG1 devices. This low-power discrete graphics solution will launch in a few variants (presumably 3GB and 6GB models). The DG1 series is designed for notebooks, expected to debut with just-announced Tiger Lake-U designs very soon.
