Intel Core i7-12700H CPU Geekbench 5 Score Spotted (Twice Faster than i7-10750H in Multi-core Test)

The upcoming Intel Core i7-12700H Alder Lake-P mobile processor has been leaked out. According to Geekbench 5 score, it is twice faster than Core i7-10750H in multi-core test.

Intel Core i7-12700H would offer the same configuration as the rumored Core i9-12900HK, which is 6 Performance (big) cores and 8 Efficient (small) cores. This gives a total of 14 cores and 20 threads because Efficient cores do not support hyper-threading.

The single-core performance is actually lower than the average score of i7-11800H, although the multi-core has been increased by nearly 40%. It is worth noting that in just two generations Intel will be increasing multi-core performance by 105% if we compare i7-12700H to i7-10750H.

Intel is now expected to launch its Alder Lake-P series at CES 2022. There should be a lot more parts coming, some to be offered alongside NVIDIA RTX 30 Ampere refresh and some with Intel’s own Arc Alchemist GPUs.
