As Intel CEO confirmed that Alder Lake processors will be released in 2H of 2021, According to a tweet from Uniko’s Hardware, Intel is now expected to unveil its Alder Lake-S series in September.
Just like Intel’s Rocket Lake-S desktop processors, Intel is planning to launch motherboards first and announce Alder Lake CPUs at the same time. In this September, Intel would launch its 600 series chipsets for LGA 1700 based motherboards. This is a major shift for the Intel platform, as we are now expecting DDR5 memory support alongside PCI Gen5.
