According to Moore’s Law is Dead, Intel will still support for DDR4 memory with the upcoming Raptor Lake series. The 13th Gen Raptor Lake-S series will be officially released in late 2022, to compete with AMD’s Zen 4 CPUs.
Intel Raptor Lake-S series will keep the LGA 1700 socket is more than likely to be compatible with all existing Z690 and future H670/B660/H610 motherboards which already support DDR4 memory.
Raptor Lake will support DDR4.
Some people might say “duh”, but I have seen a conspiracy theory going around that Intel would obsolete DDR4 mobos when Raptor Lake launches. No, they won’t.
Rest easy DDR4 Alder Lake buyers 😊.
