AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D & 5700, Ryzen 5 5600GT & 5500GT Release Date on January 31

AMD has announced the launch of four new processors for their AM4 CPU socket. Despite having launched the socket back in 2016, AMD continues to release new chips showing their commitment to supporting the platform.

According to leaked slides from VideoCardZ, the new releases include the Ryzen 7 5700X3D, an 8-core 16-thread CPU featuring AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology. With a base clock of 3.0GHz, boost clock of 4.1GHz, 100MB of total cache, and 105W TDP, the 5700X3D has similar specs to AMD’s previous flagship gaming CPU, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D. However, at just $249, the new 5700X3D comes in $100 cheaper.

AMD’s New Ryzen 7 5700X3D and Ryzen 5 5500GT Desktop CPUs Surface in Europe

AMD is poised to release new Ryzen 5000 series desktop processors for the AM4 socket, as listings for the upcoming chips have already surfaced on European retail sites.
