During the CES 2022 product premiere, AMD talked about upcoming next-gen Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 series desktop CPUs. A prototype of Zen4-based Ryzen 7000 CPU codename “Raphael” has been used for Halo Infinite demo.
AMD confirmed that during this demo, the test CPU was hitting 5.0 GHz on all Zen 4 cores, suggesting that a peak turbo frequency for a single core is actually higher. Coincidentally, Intel demoed its Core i9-12900KS CPU hitting 5.2 GHz on all P-cores, and i9-12900KS will coming at the end of this quarter.
