AMD Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs to Offer Over 15% Single-thread Uplift, Release Date in Fall 2022

Along with upcoming X670E, X670, B650 chipsets, AMD will also introduce Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 series desktop CPUs. VideoCardZ has got some details of upcoming Ryzen 7000 series CPUs.

According to VideoCardZ, the LGA1718 socket will retain compatibility with AM4 coolers. The next-generation AM5 socket will support up to 170W. AMD confirmed that Zen 4 core architecture will offer over 15% single-thread uplift (sadly we do not have the footnotes explaining what is being compared here), 2X bigger (1MB) L2 cache per core and Max Boost over 5 GHz.

The official release date for AMD Ryzen 7000 series desktop CPUs will be in this fall, stay tuned for more info.
